I walked down the street at 3:00 am and I found myself staring down a frightening fact. It was raining buckets 45 degrees. I passed multiple homeless men, some young, sleeping in the buss shelters. Many mentally ill. I found myself feeling a feeling I did not expect. Anger arose. So far America cares more about controversy over gun control, or religious freedom, or sexuality. We hardly take notice that we ourselves are suffering. Stop talking politics for one second and think. There are more things to complain about other than having to fill out paperwork for your gun. Like: Are my kids going to be homeless.
